myFssai Service Request

How to Raise a Service Request on myFssai

Follow the steps below to create and submit a service request through your myFssai :

Step 1: Log in to the Platform

Access your account via the myFSSAI using your registered email credentials. If you are a first-time user, Download the app. Complete the one-time registration by uploading your FSSAI.

Step 2: Navigate to the Service Request Module

From the main dashboard, navigate to the โ€œServicesโ€ tab and click the โ€œ+โ€ (Plus) button in the top-right corner. Choose your existing license, then select the required service category from the dropdown and proceed to create your service request.
This module offers a categorized interface for managing all FSSAI-related service workflows, including license applications, modifications, renewals, and compliance audits.

Step 3: Choose a Service Type

Select the service category you want to proceed. Available request types include:

  • Modify License (Registration, State, Central FSSAI license)
  • Renew License (Registration, State, Central FSSAI license)
  • File Annual Return FSSAI
  • Upload Lab Test Reports (FSSAI lab report upload)
  • FSSAI label Review
  • FSSAI Product Review (Product Category review)
  • Internal Audit
  • Third Party – Audits
  • Equipment Calibration
  • Health Check (Employee Health)
  • Training (FoSTac Training, HACCP Training, etc.)

Each service type dynamically loads the relevant form fields and document checklist.

Step 4: Review and Submit

Preview all entered data and attached files in the summary view. Once confirmed, click โ€œSubmit Request.โ€ Upon submission, the system generates a unique Request ID for tracking and internal reference. Our technical account managers will reach you back for the services.

Step 5: Track Request Status

All raised requests are visible under the โ€œServicesโ€ dashboard. The platform provides real-time tracking, with progress indicators form approval of the request.

Choose the Correct FSSAI Licensing Types

Before initiating a “Service Request” for “New license Application, identify the correct license type that aligns with your business operation and turnover. myFSSAI supports end-to-end documentation workflows for all three categories:

  • Basic FSSAI License: For food businesses with an annual turnover below โ‚น12 lakh.
  • State FSSAI License: For mid-scale businesses operating within a single state and turnover between โ‚น12 lakh and โ‚น20 crore.
  • Central FSSAI License: For large-scale operations, multi-state facilities, or import/export businesses with turnover exceeding โ‚น20 crore.
