FSSAI: Introducing the Provision in FoSCoS to file Updated/Revised Annual Return order

On the 8th of January 2024, FSSAI introduced the provision in FoSCoS to file updated/revised Annual Returns. The provision to update/revise the Annual return in FoSCoS after 31st May has been enabled. This will come into effect from 06.01.2024.

Revision of the annual return is allowed a maximum of two times and the last submitted annual return will be the final. Fees will be as follows:

1. Complaint FBOs who have filled out Annual Return by 31st May of the following year:
   a) Revising within Three months: one-year license fee + GST

b) Revising  Beyond Three Months: Two-Year license fee+GST.

2. FBOs who have filled out Annual returns beyond 31st May of the following year with a late fee: only one-time revising/Updating is allowed till 31 th March, with the revised filing fee equal to two-year license fee + GST.

3. Revised filling of Annual returns is not allowed for the original annual returns filled beyond 31st March.
