On 12th March 2024, FSSAI published a direction regarding the re-operationalisation of Food Safety and Standard (Foods for Infants Nutrition) Amendment Regulations, 2022, relating to revising the limits of Selenium, Manganese, iron, and biotin.
It is under the process of finalization, andย sameย may take some moreย time, therefore, it has been decided to re-operationalize the provisions specified in the direction dated 18th Oct 2022 and 22nd May 2023, respectively, w.e.f 1st Oct 2023.
